The admin now receives updates as they happen. A message arriving while you are editing your credits shows up immediately, in the counter and in the list, without you doing anything.
Counters in the admin disagreed with each other. The bell said three, the menu said one, and the tab said nothing. All three are now computed from one place and they agree.
Messages sent through your contact form are now stored in your dashboard as well as emailed to you. They can be read, marked, replied to and searched from one screen.
You can drop a newsletter signup onto any page of your free actor website.
Your actor website can now feed signups directly into Mailchimp or Constant Contact. Connect the account, choose the list, and anybody who signs up on your site is added to it.
If you already write somewhere else, you can connect it. Posts from WordPress, Medium, Ghost, Substack and anything else publishing a standard feed will appear on your actor website as a blog section on your own domain.
Every result in your Mentions panel has an Add to Press control. It creates a press item with the outlet, headline, date and link already filled in.
Your contact details now live in exactly one place. Your contact page, your email signature, your business card, your press kit and your generated resume all read from it.
When you add a press item and name the outlet, its logo now appears next to it automatically. You do not need to find one, crop one, or worry about whether the version you found is current.
Press is now a structured page type on your actor website. Each item has an outlet, a headline, a date, a link, an optional pull quote and an optional image.
Timeline is a new way to display your credits: everything you have done, in date order, across every medium, on one continuous line rather than in separate blocks.
Upload a PDF in your resume settings and it becomes available from your menu and from a download control on your resume page.
